Anarkali Saree

Typically made of luxurious fabrics like silk, chiffon, georgette, or crepe. The fabric choice adds richness and fluidity to the design. The saree is draped in the traditional manner, but the pallu (the end of the saree) is styled like an Anarkali dress, with heavy embellishments such as embroidery, zari work, or stonework. The pallu often flows down from the shoulder in a voluminous way, resembling a gown’s flaw. The Anarkali saree has a unique drape style, where the pleats are gathered at the waist, with a flowing and full pallu at the back. This creates a dramatic and graceful look.
